Self-hosted RSS readers and bookmark managers
An RSS reader shows the new posts of the sites you follow in the order they come, with no feed choosing for you. Bookmark and read-later apps keep what you found, and a web archive keeps it after the page is gone. On a server of your own, feeds are fetched around the clock.
FreshRSS reads RSS and Atom feeds, and RSSHub and RSS-Bridge make feeds for sites that have none. linkding is a bookmark manager with tags and search, and Karakeep saves links, notes and images with full-text search. wallabag saves web pages to read later, without ads or clutter. ArchiveBox keeps pages as HTML, PDF, screenshots and media files.
