Self-hosted notes, wikis and collaborative editors
Notes and wikis hold what a person or a team knows, and they grow for years. On your own server only the people you invite can read them, and every page is in the nightly backup of a machine you control.
Memos keeps short Markdown notes on a private timeline. HedgeDoc and Etherpad are editors people write in together in real time, HedgeDoc in Markdown and Etherpad with each author in their own colour. BookStack organises documentation as shelves, books, chapters and pages, and Wiki.js writes pages in Markdown or a visual editor. Obsidian LiveSync is the CouchDB server behind the Self-hosted LiveSync plugin, which syncs Obsidian vaults.
