Self-hosted analytics and uptime monitoring
Analytics tells you who visits your sites and what they read, and monitoring tells you when a site or a scheduled job stops answering. Running these tools yourself keeps visitor data in your own database and lets you watch as many sites and jobs as you need.
Umami is privacy-first web analytics without cookies. Uptime Kuma, made as a self-hosted tool like Uptime Robot, and Checkmate check that your sites answer, alert you when they do not and draw status pages, and Kener is a status page with monitors and incidents. Healthchecks alerts you when a cron job's ping is late, and ntfy sends push notifications to your phone from any script over HTTP.
