Self-hosted media servers for music, books and video
A media server streams the collection you already own to the browser and the phone: music, audiobooks, comics, games or photos. Your files stay where you put them, and the app adds the library, the player and the progress.
Navidrome, which calls itself your personal Spotify, and Koel stream your music collection, and Navidrome works with Subsonic clients. Audiobookshelf serves audiobooks and podcasts and keeps progress across devices. Komga reads comics, manga and ebooks, RomM plays retro games in the browser, and Lychee is a photo gallery. Owncast streams live video with chat on a page of your own, and PeerTube is a video platform in the fediverse.
